Prayer
In his biographies, Jesus of Nazareth is depicted as someone drawn to prayer as if it were irresistible. Many of us have yet to discover a similar disposition. Perhaps it bores us. Or it frustrates us. Like doing battle with a wandering mind while desperately attempting to recite an inner monologue at the ceiling. And yet prayer is easily one of the most important practices for the disciple of Jesus.
