Safety Guidelines for Phase 2 Gatherings

The safety of others is of utmost concern to the leadership of Van City as we begin to gather in person once again. Here’s what you can expect on a Sunday evening.

Our setup team will be cleaning everything thoroughly before and after each gathering.

If you have fever, cough, or shortness of breath, please do not attend the gathering.

Unfortunately, we are unable to resume Van City Kids safely in Phase 2, so there will be no kid’s classes on Sunday evenings. Kids classes will continue on Zoom for the time being.

Given that many people in our community are families, we’re hosting two gatherings so that parents can alternate.

Masks are required at all times. (If you don’t have a mask, we’ll give you one at the door!)

When you arrive a host will greet you before you come inside, get some quick contact information (required by the state), and check your temperature. We’ll offer you a mask if you don’t have one, or optional gloves, and we’ll ask you to use our hand sanitizer station before entering.

Seating will be arranged to maintain proper social distancing.

The gathering will be dismissed one row at a time and we’ll ask everyone not to linger in the building when the gathering is over.
